Ashia Sherdsuriya was born and raised in Southern California. She attended her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Ms. Sherdsuriya then obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, in 2023.

In her free time, Ms. Sherdsuriya enjoys producing her own music, going to music festivals, and spending time with friends.
